Cheesy Baked Mashed Potato

General Description


4 potatoes
1 small tub sour cream (about a 1/2 of a cup)
2 cups chredded cheese
6 slices of bacon
1/4-1/2 stick of butter (or margarine), depending on your tastes

Cooking Instructions

You can either bake the potatoes at 350 for 1 hr, or boil them for about an hr.
Cut bacon into small pieces and fry (I find it easier to cut the bacon up before cooking, you can do it afterward if you prefer)
Once potatoes are done kinda mash/break them apart but leave them with big chunks and leave the skin (unless you just absolutely hate it).
Add in bacon pieces, sour cream, butter, and half of the cheese and lightly mix together.
Top with the other half of the cheese, cover with foil and place in the oven at 350 for approx 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.


Its really yummy with chicken, pork chops, or steak.
