Gingerbread Cookies

General Description


Ingredients

• 1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon shortening
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 small box butterscotch instant pudding mix
• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 1 1/2 teaspoon ginger
• 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda


Cooking Instructions

1. Cream the shortening and sugar, add eggs and mix well.
2. Add dry pudding mix and flour and spices. Mix well.
3. Roll the dough to about 1/4 inch thick and cut with a ginger-bread man cookie cutter.
4. Bake on greased cookie sheet for 10-12 minutes at 350.
